At the end of August 2010, the super high strength hot forming steel for auto was deveoped successfully by Wuhan Iron and Steel (Group) Corp.(WISC) The remarkable characteristic of the hot forming steel is that the steel has low strength before hot stamping, it is convenient for machining. Through special heat treatment during hot stamping, the final product has the strength of over 1300MPa. WISC spends only three months to accomplish test of product. It marks that WISC has capability of supply for enterprises which sale top grade saloon.
