Xian Heavy Machinery Research Institute (XHMRI for short words) founded in 1956 is a comprehensive research and development unit in machinery and equipment industry in China. In 1999 ,XHMRI entered in China National Machinery Industry Corporation (CNMIC) with the reforming of national science and technology system.
In Oct.2006,China National Heavy Machinery Research Institute (CNHMRI ) founded on the base of XHMRI.
Undergoing more than fifty years development, XHMRI has become one of large scale powerful scientific enterprise now, specialized engaging in the research and development ,design and forming complete set of metallurgical installations for ferrous and non-ferrous metals, of heavy forging and extrusion installations, enviroment-protecting equipments with the complete matching of hydraulic ,electric and control systems, and of transmission foundational elements as well.
A modern enterprise system of parent-son company framework has been set up in XHMRI, made up of thirteen research and development departments with complete specialties and wide scope business ,forming the core of XHMRI, and of four manufacturers and five sub-companies. About nine-hundred mature scientific payoffs of equipments and technologies find widespread application in our country and more than twenty countries and regions all over the world and are praised by users.
The specialty superiority of XHMRI are as follows: Steel continuous casting complex , liquid steel vacuum refining system , cold rolling equipments for flat material of ferrous and non-ferrous metals ,auxiliary and deep processing units in strip rolling lines, rolling and refining equipments for pipe and tube ,round and bar ,sections , rod and wire ,heavy forging and extrusion equipments ,enviroment-protecting devices ,hydraulic and lubrication ,electric drive and automation and transmission foundational elements as well.
